JC Buchan Quartet

Influenced by different musical cultural traditions from both East and West, Mexican double bass player and composer Juan Carlos Buchan presents his first work as a band leader.

He offers us a synthesis of a career spanning more than a quarter of a century: airs of Balkan and oriental music combined with the harmonies of jazz and the power of rock, funk and afro-caribbean music.

Original music imbued with a powerful emotional charge that will not leave anyone unmoved.
