Biography

Juan Carlos Buchan, double bass player and composer.

Born in Mexico city, he studied at the National Music Conservatory. In 2008 he moved to Europe where he has carried out an intense musical work that is reflected in more than twenty albums of various musical genres and for different artists.

He has played at music festivals within Mexico, Italy, Germany, France, Norway, Austria, Switzerland and Turkey as well as in Spain where he currently lives. In 2022 he launched his first project as a leader.
